Did you go to high school with someone who absolutely loved word problems? Do you wonder how anyone could love word problems?
Well, I’m that person. I’ve always loved math; I love calculating and coming to the correct answer every time. When I took an accounting class at Carlsbad High School, I knew from then on that’s what I wanted to do, and I’ve been working in the accounting & bookkeeping field ever since.
I worked my way through CSU Chico, taking accounting-related jobs wherever I could, and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance degree in 1990. After graduating I worked in the accounting field at North County companies for the next 11 years.
In 2001 I decided it was time to head out on my own, I started Bottom Line Management and for the past 23 years have been helping San Diego and North County businesses stress less by taking care of their bookkeeping needs.
Not everyone is cut out for bookkeeping, and that’s what I love about my job!
I enjoy letting my clients stay in their comfort zone by taking their piles of receipts and records off of their hands, that’s what a bookkeeper does. I make sure everything balances to the penny every month, and when I complete their year, I put everything into a neat financial package that’s ready to go for their CPA.
Clients tell me that makes their tax season go a lot smoother.
I focus on what I do best, which lets my clients focus on what they do best, from the smallest one-person shops, to local Mom & Pops right in Carlsbad Village, to larger businesses with multiple employees in and around North County San Diego.
